Nexsys IT is an Australian owned and operated company. We are a specialised IT integrator for the architectural, engineering, construction and
manufacturing industries throughout Australia and Asia Pacific.
This role provides the opportunity to support a variety range of clients remotely and through site visits. Some key responsibilities of the role include:
- Consistent regular visits to client offices and provide desktop level support onsite.
- Monitoring/responding to incoming requests in ticketing system and providing first level support remotely for hardware, software, networking and other technology related problems
- First level troubleshooting and escalating as required.
- Configuring and installing personal computers, mobile devices, software and peripheral equipment;
The successful candidate will possess:
- IT related Diploma, Degree or certification
- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Outstanding troubleshooting skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft desktop environment
- Basic understanding of networking and Windows Active Directory
- A passion for Technology
- High level of customer service skills, particularly when face to face with clients
- A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn and grow
- Outstanding communication, organisational and time management skills
- Experience supporting in Architectural/Engineering/Construction services environment is desirable
Role is based in Inner Eastern Suburbs with site visits occurring in CBD and inner suburbs, hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri with potential for occasional out of hours work.
