ESSENTIAL:
- Must hold Australian Citizenship
- Hold a NV1 Security Clearance or Higher (can be sponsored by us)
- Canberra or Penrith based position
- Significant procurement and commercial experience
- Legal, commerce, or business degree and/or considerable Defence procurement and contract management experience.
- FMS and ITAR experience
In this role, you will deliver end-to-end procurement activities including but not limited to:
- Providing expert advice and assistance on procurements and contract management to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with associated procurement, probity, contract management and financial related legislative and regulatory frameworks.
- Administering procurements through the full life cycle including drafting documents throughout the procurement lifecycle. This includes
- developing go to market documentation (in consultation with your clients); and
- developing work orders and contracts
- support the evaluation of and negotiation with stakeholder engagement, dispute resolution, applying best practice and recommendation to contract issues;
- negotiating terms and conditions and contracts - including contract changes and extensions; and
- Providing support and assistance with procurement planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Providing accurate procurement information to all levels of management including highlighting issues and provide support on procurement options and strategies
- Providing vendor management support to ensure consistent communication and flow of information between vendors and the client.
- Providing support to personnel with invoice processing, purchase order, problem solving and performance reporting.

- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through being a trusted advisor for procurement, probity, and contract management.
- Taking ownership of commercial advice to stakeholders and managing commercial outcomes with suppliers.
- Bringing together stakeholders (project managers, execs, legal) to influence commercial outcomes.
