About the role
The purpose of this role is to provides leadership and direction for the execution phase of a project to deliver the approved business objectives, considering HSE, scope, schedule, quality and budget, to ensure successful completion and the project handover to Operations.
Core Accountabilities:
• Manage the execution of the project to ensure safe delivery to the required quality, schedule, cost and business case targets. Is accountable for the execution outcomes by defining, accepting responsibility and delivering on project commitments.
• Implements project delivery strategies, methodologies, systems and execution plans, including risk and quality management plans.
• Identifies and manages risks associated with delivery of the project and ensures the project risk management program is effective.
• Drives decision-making to ensure the delivery of the project, minimising delays and setbacks, and manages and communicates deviations from the execution plan. Manages the construction contractor against the agreed targets and takes action where required to improve performance.
• Manages external stakeholder relationships proactively; represents the project on-site to Operations and other stakeholders. Coordinates with Operations for all interfaces including tie-ins, work in brown field areas etc.
• Drives integration and coordination of other functional inputs (i.e. engineering, procurement, permits) required for the delivery of the project, collaborating and establishing an effective cross functional team.
About You
Requirements:
- Civil Engineer / Mechanical / Electrical / industrial or similar.
- 15 years of experience in construction mining.
- Desirable experience in tailings.

Modality of Shift: 4x3
Mandatory requirement: Availability to work on site.
