SalaryShadow Puppet is a new game creation studio, we focus on unique mobile gaming experiences. We're on the lookout for a talented Level Designer and Unity Game Developer to join our team for our first release, a platformer beat'em up concept.Responsibilities:
- Work with our team to design, develop, and implement levels and refine gameplay to produce a high-quality Unity-based mobile game.
- Create rough game play prototypes to test level design
- Transform creative concepts into functional and scalable code, ensuring an exceptional player experience.
- Implementing and developing game features, character moves, power-ups, mechanics, scene atmosphere and layering in collaboration with our Creative Director, Technical Lead and Animator.
- Conduct thorough performance and memory optimisation to enhance overall game efficiency.
- Collaborate with our Creative Director and Animator to integrate assets and maintain a consistent visual style.
- Bring to the table trends and push technology, along with insights to enhance Shadow Puppet's process.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Unity Game Developer.
- Proficient in C# with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
- Solid understanding of game physics, animation and 2D and 3D graphics.
- Experience within mobile gaming
- Expertise in Unity3D, including Unity UI, assets bundles, and material shaders.
- Experience with level design and gameplay prototyping.
- Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience on other successful game titles released on mobile.
