Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Execute core library tasks such as customer service, shelving, and circulation duties, while fostering an adaptable and collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility to meet the unique demands of different library locations in the network, ensuring efficient operations and teamwork.
- Be available for short-term engagements to bridge temporary staffing gaps and maintain consistent service levels throughout the seven-day service.
- Respond promptly to on-call duties, addressing unforeseen staffing needs for seamless library operations.
- Prior experience in library services is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to quickly adapt to various library settings and tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Comfortable with technology and possessing strong digital skills to assist the community.
- Display flexibility to work on a short-term and on-call basis, contributing to the library's operational success seven days a week.
- Availability to work across the library network as required.
- Experience serving the community.
- Ability to pick up systems and processes quickly.
- Current NSW Working with Children - Employee Clearance.
