- Two part time positions (66 hours per fortnight and 38 hours per fortnight)

About this position
We are seeking two applicants to join the City’s Library Service part time. The City has four libraries at Gosnells, Beckenham, Thornlie and Southern River and the successful applicants may be rostered to work at any of these four locations.
The City’s Library Service is open seven days per week. In addition to weekdays, applicants must be available to work weekend and evening shifts as required. The ability to undertake children's and adult programs is essential (this will require a valid Working with Children Check).
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must have:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills working with teams, individuals and the community.
- Good customer service skills.
- The ability to undertake multifaceted tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
Essential requirements
- Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
- Current Working With Children Card
Candidates may also be considered for future similar positions if they become available within the next six months.
