About the role
The Library ResourcesServices Lead is responsible for leading and managing the strategic planning, coordination and delivery of Library Resource management services for TAFE NSW including e-procurement, acquisitions, cataloguing and distribution of Library Resources on a state-wide basis. The position also provides a state-wide advisory service on Library Resource management issues and solutions.
Essential Requirements * Eligibility for Associate membership of Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and an ALIA accredited library and information science qualification.

• Experience in building and leading a team that encourages innovations, focuses on service standards, continuous improvement and the implementation of efficiencies.
• Knowledge and understanding of educational trends and issues as they apply to library and information services and resource management in a large organisation operating across dispersed locations.
• Willingness and ability to travel as per business requirements.
• Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
