About the role:
The Service Lead, Community is responsible for leading a team of Support Workers in providing quality supports for Community Services. The Service Lead, Community manages the supervision, monitoring, service development and quality of support provision within Community Services. The focus of this critical role is to lead Support Workers and partner with management to support efficient service delivery and operational excellence, championing continuous improvement that enhances the lives of people with a disability, and supports Aruma's strategic and operational goals.
Travel required across all services in Grafton and Ballina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to achieve their best.
- Ensure smooth operations and efficient processes.
- Provide guidance and support, addressing any challenges that arise.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to meet customer needs.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive environment where all employees feel valued.

About You:
- A minimum three years working in disability services or a similar environment.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Individual Support or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Administration & Leadership roles highly desirable.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Passionate about human rights and creating positive change.
- Empathetic and compassionate, with a keen understanding of diverse experiences.
- Excellent communication skills to be the voice that resonates with others.
- Enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and inspire.
- Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
