About the role:
Supporting the Library Coordinator, the Library Technician monitors, supervises, and performs day to day tasks of the local campus Collection Services Team; and is part of a national team that collaborates across the campuses. The position also involves taking a lead role in collection based projects; contributing to national working groups; and provides high quality service to students, staff and library visitors. More specifically the role entails:

• Contribute to service improvements by communicating Library processes and service standards to the team and providing feedback for process improvements.
• Oversee the scanning of resources for repositories, copyright database, disability support and other services.
• Oversee shelving, shelf tidying, collection maintenance and stock takes along with general tidying of physical library spaces.

• Total remuneration valued to $86,158 - $93,202 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $72,805 - $78,757 (pro rata) pa (HEW 4), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
