Evening Library Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic Evening Library Technician to join our Library & Information Services team in the Senior School on a permanent part time basis.  
As part of the wider team, you will provide support for the Teacher Librarian on duty after hours and perform various tasks such as shelving, circulation of resources and creating displays.  
 
This unique opportunity will be based in the Senior School Library in North Sydney and cover the School's Academic, and Cultural Life. No two days will be the same in this varied position.  
  
This role is offered on a term-time only basis and hours as set out below: 
  
Monday-Thursday: 4:00pm-8:00pm 
Friday: 1:30pm-5:30pm

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

• TAFE qualifications in library and information services is desirable, not essential 
• Valid Working with Children Check 
• Advanced First Aid Certificate & CPR Accreditation  
• Experience working within a library/school environment is desirable 

Members of the school teaching and support staff are encouraged to attend School Chapel services and are expected to actively support the School’s Christian Ethos.
