The Role
Reporting directly to Head of Library and working closely with Library and campus teaching staff, the Library Technician will support the operations of the campus library and ultimately the wider community in best utilising the library and information services.
This is an ongoing part time 0.9 FTE opportunity based at our Caulfield Campus with an available immediate start. This role requires fulltime hours across 43 weeks.
Key Duties
- Support the operations of the campus library and ultimately the wider community in best utilising the library and information services
- Cataloguing digital and print resources
- The operation, maintenance and development of library digital resources
- Participating in the day-to-day operations of the library, including circulation desk duties, reference assistance and shelving
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Qualifications in Library and Information Services or equivalent and/or eligibility for associate membership for ALIA
- Experience of the Oliver Library Management System highly desirable
- Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check
