Job Description
ACCIONA is seeking to engage a Cost Control Analyst to join our Brisbane team.
Reporting to the Projects Control Manager, this role is a centralized function providing support and coordination in the setup and implementation of company Cost Control systems relating to daily purchase requisition, timesheet, dockets, cost capture and productivity monitoring on projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring the day to day process of Cost Control in projects is executed efficiently and effectively through the tools available.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Be the first point of contact for internal stakeholders for matters relating to our Cost Control systems
• Analytical thinking in relation to the application of tools and the processes around them.
• Monthly reporting & auditing
• Ensuring accurate records are captured and maintained in Linkedsite.
• Ensuring correct process and protocols are adhered to, reviewing the system utilization report.
• Doing data entry when required to ensure Cost Control systems are up to date.
• Provide training and support of the system to subcontractors, suppliers and project team on how to use the system correctly.
• Assisting Project Controls Manager (North/West region) in day to day management of LinkedSite and other systems that relate to Cost Control.
• Set up key data for new projects and contracts.
• Develop reports and periodically review the implementation status and propose improvement action when issues have been identified.
• Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of project stakeholders.
• Participate in project / Project Controls group meetings as required and assist in resolving issues.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Previous experience required in costing on construction projects is highly desirable, in particular working with Backup Sheets
• Experience in effective change management within organizations.
• Self motivated individual
• High aptitude to process thinking and the way systems are implemented.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Package including Excel
• Tertiary degree is advantages in either Engineering, IT, finance or commerce.
