SalaryExcellent opportunity for a Licenced Electrician with industrial experience to head up the maintenance team of this busy Maintenance Contractor with the majority of the work to be carried out in and around Sydney Airport.
Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, this role is hands on providing ongoing preventative and reactive maintenance, to ensure the smooth running and operations of the site.

To be successful in your application for this role, you MUST be a Licenced Electrician with the ability to:
- Understand the working of PLC controlled Hydraulic and mechanically driven roller decks, hoists, and transfer vehicles.
- Fault find and diagnose electrical and PLC faults.
- Read electrical schematics.
- Communicate effectively to liaise with clients and site supervisors.
The ideal candidate will also hold:
- OH& S White card.
- Australian driver's licence.
The right person will be able to commit to this rotating role comprising of 8-hour shifts on a 5-day week 6 am - 2pm for two weeks, then swapping to 2 pm - 10pm, with occasional weekend work based on project needs. Potential shift work depending on customer requirements.
Due to the nature of the sites, there is a requirement for a clean record so you can obtain these as part of your on boarding:
- ASIC Clearance
- Federal Police Check
- Drugs and Alcohol test prior to employment carried out at an approved testing facility.
