ABOUT THE ROLE

The Licensing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing daily support and service to Licensing Account Managers and AFL Licensees. This involves ensuring the successful execution of a world class licensing program with a fan-centric approach. Tasks include product development, handling financial and approved administrative duties, communicating with external partners, and facilitating the fulfillment of contractual obligations to key partners.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

Key Accountabilities:

  • Effectively communicate and uphold AFL brand strategy and policies both externally and internally at all times.
  • Working closely with licensees to build AFL licensed and approved ranges.
  • Provide administrational and other relevant support to all members of the AFL Consumer Products team in achieving department objectives (i.e. mail outs, organising events, collaborative marketing campaigns, meeting preparation, assistance with presentations).
  • Respond appropriately to all Licensing enquiries.
  • Assist the Account Managers with all product development. Specifically managing approvals for product lines, being mindful of the need to protect and enhance the AFL brand.
  • Ensure licensees are conforming to contractual obligations (i.e. approvals)
  • Manage key licensee documents.
  • Coordination and operation of the AFL online product approval system. Working closely with licensees from initial concept through to finished product and retail delivery.
  • Coordination and operation of the AFL online financial approval process.
  • Maintain the Licensing database and produce various reports when requested.
  • Working with local suppliers to get insight into their production and manufacturing requirements and the limitations of certain product lines.
  • Coordination and implementation of Club IP Style Guide
