Life Raft Servicing Technician
AMI Group S.A is seeking a long term, motivated person with a real and dedicated interest in the marine boating industry, to join our dynamic team as Life Raft Technician in Port Adelaide.
The role is supported by comprehensive training.
This role is full time Monday to Friday with some weekend/after-hours work on occasion.
After successful completion of a probationary period, in addition to your salary and normal conditions of employment, the company offers an additional Ten (10) paid Well Being Days for full time employees during the year between February and November.
Daily Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Servicing of marine based safety equipment, Life Rafts and Life Jackets
- General telephone and counter sales
- Store person and internal sales duties
- Quote, order and general data entry
- Receiving, dispatch and stock monitoring
Required attributes:
- Marine boating industry knowledge/experience.
- Excellent phone manner.
Ability to work both autonomously and in a small team environment. - Organised and ability to multitask.
- Motivated, positive attitude and a real want to achieve.
Willingness to learn a diverse range of marine, marine safety products and services. - Computer literate.
- Current SA drivers licence
- Forklift license preferred, but not essential.
Must be able to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MISC). The company will cover the cost.
