Lifestyle Assistant Part-Time

We are a leading Not-for-Profit aged care provider in Victoria seeking an experienced Lifestyle Assistant for a permanent part time role at our Residential Aged Care Facility, Royal Freemasons Coppin Centre which is a 210 bed premium nursing home.
About You
As a focused, highly organised and motivated Lifestyle Assistant, you will be required under the direction of the Lifestyle Manager to provide activities programs. You will be a person who can build and maintain relationships and work well in a team. The Lifestyle Assistant works with Volunteers as well as work closely with Therapy, and Care Staff providing support and activities for the residents of the home.
The successful candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm into this role, will be service oriented, possess exceptional people skills and be passionate about providing quality aged care activities for our residents.
Key Requirements

• Certificate IV in Community Services (Leisure and Lifestyle)
• At least one years’ experience in a similar role within the Health Care or Aged Care environment with exposure to residents with Dementia
• Excellent interpersonal communication and clear written and spoken English
• A passion for working in Aged Care and Lifestyle
• Ability to work with a team and excellent customer services skills
• Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft office
• Smart phone and access to home internet required

NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)
Royal Freemasons is a NDIS approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must have a completed NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an International Police Check for those that have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.
Mandatory Vaccines
All aged care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
