Light Vehicle Mechanic

Oldknow Earthmoving & Haulage are a Singleton based company with projects across the Hunter Valley area. We have a modern fleet including scrapers, bulldozers, excavators, dump trucks, water carts, tippers, truck & dogs, graders and crushing equipment. Projects vary across the mining and construction sector. We are seeking safety focused, personal health conscious, experienced and reliable heavy vehicle and plant mechanics to join our maintenance team.

Successful applicants will have:

1. Certificate of Proficiency (Automotive Trade)
2. A current heavy vehicle drivers licence
3. Experience working on heavy vehicles
4. A clean safety record incl. nil Lost Time Injuries
5. A willingness to work overtime.

Most suited applicants may also have:

• Certificate of Proficiency - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Minimum 5 years experience working with Heavy Vehicles
• High risk licences for rigging/dogging, VLC and forklift
• Auto electrical qualifications and experience
• Air con qualifications and experience
