About The OpportunityAs a
Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in conducting repairs and maintenance on a variety of heavy vehicles to ensure they operate at optimal performance.
Some of your responsibilities will include:- Utilising problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix mechanical issues
- Coaching and supporting team and apprentices where needed
- Performing services, repairs and maintenance on Light Vehicles
- Following OH&S procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Repair and replace suspension and brake components
About YouThe successful candidate will have:- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic in a Leading Hand capacity
- Relevant trade qualifications in Light Vehicle Mechanics
- Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
- A manual driver's license and MR/HR license (Desirable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
