About the Role
A Light Vehicle Apprenticeship will provide you the opportunity to build your practical and theoretical knowledge of cars through on-the-job training and theory studies at TAFE.

- Completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology at TAFE.

What Will You Learn?
- Minor servicing of Light Vehicles
- Remove and replace broken or defective vehicle parts
- Test electrical systems and diagnose issues
- Assist and observe mechanics
- Clean and tidy work areas
- Operate automotive test equipment
- Follow safe working practices
- Use and maintain tools and equipment
- Identify automotive electrical systems and components and more.
What Are We Looking For?
- Passion for cars and the desire to become a highly skilled Technician.
- Commitment to a 4 year apprenticeship, including theory studies.
- Strong sense of self-motivation, enthusiasm and 'can do' attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Honesty, trustworthy and punctual.
- Valid Provisional Driver’s License
- Automotive pre-apprenticeship or prior experience is beneficial but not essential.
