We are currently looking for an Engineering Apprentice (Metal Fabrication) to join the team.
Able Fabrications has been providing engineering, manufacturing and fabrication services for a wide range of customers since 1973.
We specialise in quality fabrication & manufacturing services.
Our workforce consists of highly skilled and certified engineers, welding supervisors, welding inspectors, qualified welders and boiler makers with a broad range of knowledge and experience in fabrication and manufacturing. At Able Fabrications, we accept the challenge to deliver the highest quality services to meet and exceed the needs of our clients.
Able Fabrications are capable over a wide range of engineering and fabrication services and appreciate the opportunity to build long term relationships with clients from many industrial sectors.

Duties will involve:
- Performing engineering measurements
- Apply welding principles
- Use workshop machines for basic operations
- Carry out mechanical cutting
- Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environment
The successful candidate will:
- Be a confident communicator
- Be able to undertake manual/physical work
- Motivated with a genuine interest in the fabrication industry
- Be trustworthy and reliable
- Have a high level of attention to detail
Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing fabrication as a career path, be motivated and willing to work hard to get trade qualified.
The successful candidate will undergo Certificate III in Engineering.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
