We Are Looking For:

Role Type: Full-time Motor Mechanic
Salary: AUD 70,000
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform routine maintenance on trucks, such as oil changes, lubrications, and fluid top-ups to ensure smooth operational status.
2. Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to accurately identify faults in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
3. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of trucks and equipment.
4. Execute detailed inspections and maintenance of brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other critical components.
5. Adhere to company standards and regulations regarding the handling and disposal of fluids, parts, and waste.
6. Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime of vehicles.
7. Maintain detailed records of each repair and service performed, noting down the time and parts used for each task.
8. Stay current with industry trends and techniques for vehicle maintenance and repair through continuous education and professional development.
9. Provide excellent service to ensure operations meet SE National’s reliability standards.

Skills & Experience:
• Have AQF Certificate III Motor Mechanic or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Motor Mechanic
• Have the high level of skill to follow the manufactures guidance ensuring quality workmanship.
• Ability to adhere to OH&S and keeping the workplace safe.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Strong work ethic, energetic, proactive and solution orientated.
• Ability to make decisions and self-motivated.
