About the Role
Excellent opportunity to upskill and join a well-known Gold Coast business with permanent opportunities made available.
PAY RATE:
whilst upskilling as a Light Vehicle Mechanic - between $37.05 - $41 phr (approximately 12 months duration to complete upskill)
once trade qualified Heavy Diesel mechanic - $45 phr
Work is 6am - 2:30pm offering full-time hours with overtime opportunities.
Primary duties will include repairs, maintenance, and services on vehicles covering Cats, Cummins, Mercedes, in which you fully understand the motors and software for these engines.
This role requires a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated to upskill to a trade-qualified Heavy Diesel mechanic to complete a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

About You:
You must possess the following:
- Trade Qualified LV Mechanic
- Past proven experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years)
- MR Truck Licence and HR Licence is desirable
- Be able to take ownership of your role and work within a team environment
- Be able to work under pressure to meet daily targets
- Ability to work a rotating roster - 6am to 2:30pm / 1:30pm to 10pm once trade qualified.
