Position: Lineboring Department Manager
Location: Bowen Basin, Queensland, Australia
Salary: $120,000 per annum / Car / Laptop
Position Summary: The Lineboring Department Manager at Absolute Enterprises is responsible for overseeing all operations within the Lineboring Department, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and exceptional quality standards. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves leading a team of technicians and operators, coordinating with other departments, and conducting site visits across the Bowen Basin regions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the Lineboring Department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead a team of skilled technicians and operators, providing guidance, training and support to maximize performance and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow, minimize downtime, and enhance overall departmental e3fficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to prioritize and schedule projects, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular site visits across the Bowen Basin region to assess project requirements, monitor progress, and address any issues or concerns.
- Maintain inventory levels, equipment, and resources necessary for operations, liaising with suppliers and vendors as needed.
- Uphold quality standards and compliance with relevant regulations, fostering a culture of safety and excellence within the department.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the industrial sector, with an understanding of lineboring operations and machinery.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial processes, equipment, and safety protocols, with a commitment to upholding industry standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel and conduct site visits on a weekly basis within the Bowen Basin region.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Working Conditions:
- This position requires regular travel to various worksites within the Bowen Basin region.
