About the Roles:
White’s IGA are now seeking enthusiastic and energetic Department Managers and 2ICs across our Stores. These highly regarded positions will be responsible for the operations and the day to day running of award-winning departments and will report directly to the Department/Store Management. These positions are well suited to a person interested in kickstarting their management career in retail.
About You:
Suitable candidates must have industry experience in a similar role to competently facilitate and coordinate a wide range of operational functions and lead a team to deliver retail excellence standards. Major duties and responsibilities include:
- Strong ability to lead, coach and develop a team
- Strong customer service skills and passion to provide an exceptional shopping experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to promote and build a strong team environment
- Excellent presentation, merchandising and stock management skills
- Ability to mentor and inspire employees to meet sales, cost budgets and compliance standards
- Friendly, approachable and positive team player
- Embrace White’s IGA unique ‘locavore’ culture and actively engage in the community
- Ability to regularly lift up to 20kgs is an essential requirement
- Previous retail experience is essential
