The role:
• Verify compliance with technical specification requirements
• Ensuring welding equipment is maintained and serviced
• Ensuring geomembrane/bituminous welds meet quality standards and expectations
• Testing and retesting the integrity of all plastic welds
• Ability to manage crew on site
• Coordination of works, updating weekly programs
• Perform inspections on-site as required
• Provide technical advice to team on site
• Understanding of Quality Procedures and Standards
• Plan and scope activities with efficiency and to budget
• Solve problems and respond to delays and emergencies
• Deployment of materials and basic site/work planning
• Working on a Roster basis and in a team environment
To join this growing and passionate team, you will need:
• Proven experiences working as Lining Field/Quality Supervisor
• Hold IAGI/TWI certification (preferred)
• Mining Supervisor ticket
• Current and relevant tickets, White Card & Driver’s Licence
• The ability to take direction, follow instructions from management
• To be a team player and can work in a team-based environment
• Commitment and a good attitude towards safety
• The ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work 12-hour shifts
• Work a 14/7 roster
