Join our team on a fixed-term contract (flexible part-time or full-time hours over a 6-9 month period available) as a Quality Assurance Manager and be an integral part of our team. About the role
As our Quality Assurance Manager, you'll form a critical part of our senior leadership team and play a critical role in ensuring the organisation has robust systems and a strong culture to support the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is responsible for improving and maintaining a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO9001 standards and regulations and Australian Standards relevant to the industries Vanguard operates in. This role also oversees work health and safety (WHS) practices, manages supplier and contractor relationships, and drives continuous process improvement within the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality and safety systems.
- Oversee audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure quality of procured materials and services.
- Achieve and maintain ISO 9001 certification.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Lead the implementation of new quality management systems.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all systems and processes are effective.
- Train employees on systems and processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented systems.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Quality management/assurance, work health and safety and/or project management qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Background in quality management/assurance, process improvement, work health and safety and systems implementation is essential.
- Experience with ISO9001 Quality Management Systems accreditation will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of regulations and Australian Standards related to the Commercial Laundry industry will be highly regarded.
- Strong computer skills are essential.
