Form of workAustralian Food & Agriculture Company own and operate the Conargo Feedlot, located 25 km north of Deniliquin, NSW. The Feedlot has recently increased its' carrying capacity and is seeking a suitably experienced person to fulfil the role of Livestock Supervisor. Working closely with the Feedlot Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for planning the movement of all cattle that enter the Feedlot and associated backgrounding operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Selection of cattle for our customers' weekly exit program, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
- Plan and organise logistics for cattle exits.
- Plan and organise the movement of cattle from the backgrounding facilities.
- Ensure that all cattle directly consigned to the Feedlot, or sent to the backgrounding facilities, are inducted within a set time frame from arrival to maximise animal health.
- Recording daily inductions and checking that correct numbers have been started on feed as per our customers' requirements.
- Commitment to animal welfare and WH&S principles.

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong record keeping skills.
