We're seeking another proactive individual to manage our support worker rosters and scheduling department efficiently.
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in setting up client appointments, managing transport arrangements, monitoring support worker compliance, and maintaining scheduling processes.
Working closely with our Operations Manager, you'll help in upholding gold standard schedules to meet client needs effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming client calls and provide assistance
- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel meetings accurately in our system
- Manage and confirm client travel bookings
- Keep stakeholders informed of any client related incidents
- Address scheduling queries via email, phone, and text
- Follow scheduling procedures and maintain thorough records
- Assign support workers to clients based on skills and qualifications
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed
- Follow NDIS guidelines and internal policy and procedures
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience as a Scheduling Coordinator or similar role
- Proficiency in scheduling software
- Familiarity with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Experience in managing travel arrangements and bookings
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination
- Ability to coordinate meetings with venue availability
- Dedication to continuous quality improvement
- Understanding of the NDIS framework
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Aptitude for assisting individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges
- Previous support worker experience and insight
Mandatory Requirements:
- National Police Certificate
- Australian driver's license
- Full-time ongoing working rights in Australia
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Working With Children check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
Upon acceptance into the role, candidates will need to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Certification
- First Aid Training Certification
- CPR Training Certification
- Case Note Writing Certification
