To provide asset protection and ensure all stakeholders attending Site are within a safe and incident free environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initial training and ongoing support will be offered with a plan to develop the skillset of high performing guards.
  • Enforcing Physical Access Control policies
  • Contractor Management
  • Contractor Escorts
  • Spot checks of all staff photo ID and access passes
  • Observe and Report - Escalation, incident management, and communications
  • White level inspections
  • Access breaches
  • Asset protection
  • Customer experience
  • Greeting staff and guests
  • Assisting staff and guests with inquiries
  • Internal and external White level inspections
  • Report suspicious incidents
  • Incident responder e.g. - medical, fire, lockdown, etc.
  • Fault/maintenance reporting
  • Do not allow access to restricted areas
  • Monitoring and responding to alarms
  • Support of site staff
  • Detailed reporting of faults or incidents
  • Management of CCTV and access control

Qualification

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Current 1A, 1C NSW Security Licence
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • 1-2+ year experience in a similar role
  • Experience with delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with conflict resolution and emergency services
  • Problem-solving ability - conflict resolution & decision-making skills
  • Incident report writing
  • Experience in assisting with client inquiries and with emergency services
  • Initiative - motivated, positive & self-starter attitude
  • Confidentiality - ability to keep sensitive information, confidential

Mandatory

  • Current State Security License
  • Own transport
  • Extensive Security knowledge and understanding of Security issues
  • Able to pass pre-employment alcohol & drug testing
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical / fitness examination.

Knowledge

  • Prior knowledge of large education facility operating procedures & protocols.
  • Ability to multi task in a busy environment

Experience

  • Preferably prior experience in dealings with major stakeholders
  • Prefer minimum 2 years' experience within Security Industry

Profile description:
