Our client is a leading provider of Rollingstock Assets and Management in Australia who supports their customers through complex projects and solutions. Their capabilities see them through the project lifecycle looking after the design stage, manufacturing stage, operations and maintenance. They are looking for a Community Engagement Lead to join their team working with the Deputy Project Director on a QLD based major Rail and Transit Systems project.
Your new role
In your new role you will be working with a variety of stakeholders across multiple industries and government departments where you will be driving multi-disciplinary project teams. The role entails reporting on various deliverables whilst also collaborating with contractors and other stakeholders for reporting purposes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have knowledge and experience in the following:
- QLD State Local Content Charter and QLD Procurement Policy
- Experience writing submissions or proposals for government
- Experience in the management of projects in complex political environments
- Relevant Qualifications in Business or Project Management
- Commercial knowledge including the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
- High-level excel experience
- Experience in project Financial Management
