They offer superior quality products ranged in major retail channels and are now seeking a Demand Planner to join the team on a full-time basis.
About the role
Reporting through to the Operations Director, the Demand Planner is responsible for developing a robust monthly sales forecast (Volume, revenue and margin) for all relevant local/national trade channels.
Main Duties
- Prepare and carry out monthly S&OP reviews, making mention of monthly forecast percentage accuracy scores.
- Manage replenishment of finished goods inventory into distribution.
- Assist in the facilitation of the demand planning/forecasting process to achieve a high level of accuracy.
- Continual analysis of inventory and monitoring any supply risks.
- Liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally.
Ideally tertiary qualified in the supply chain or business space, the successful candidate will have prior experience in a forecasting, demand analysis or planning role with an organisation supplying a major retailer. You will have the written and verbal communication skill to influence key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- ERP system knowledge – Netstock/Excel
- Demand or Supply Planning experience and S&OP exposure.
- Order processing and replenishment skills
- Experience dealing with major retail chains.
