Local Laws Officer

Renumeration: $75,011.44 - $87,199.34
A rare and exciting position is available for a Local Laws Officer to join our Team.
With a commitment to customer focused service and as a member of Local Laws Unit you will be responsible for administration and enforcement in a variety of areas including domestic animal and livestock control, Local laws, traffic management and parking services.
This truly is a diverse role drawing on judgement, decision making skills and specialist knowledge to enforce State and Local laws and provide advice on Council guidelines. This community engagement role provides a rewarding career in Local Government.
To be successful for this role you will require:
- Certificate IV in Animal Management and Control or willingness to obtain.
- Certificate IV in Regulatory Compliance or equivalent and/or significant experience in a similar field.
- Significant experience in developing evidence briefs and presenting in Court.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current National Police Check.
- Valid driver’s license.
