This is an exciting opportunity to join a cohesive finance team, whereby your week will be split across payroll and transactional accounting; they are using an outsourced payroll model which you will provide support to and assist the broader finance team completing accounts payable and receivable duties from time to time.

The Challenge

Reporting into the Finance Manager and P&C Manager, your responsibilities will include: 

• Assisting with the preparation and processing fortnightly payroll for 1,000+ staff
• Entering new starters and leavers
• Maintaining leave records and adjustments
• Responding to payroll and accounts related queries
• Interpreting and applying awards and contracts
• Uploading the bank file 
• Assisting the broader finance team where necessary

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you have the following;

• Processing pay runs larger than 500+ staff
• Experience in a professional services is highly advantageous. 
• A high attention to detail, strong work ethic alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An eagerness to develop your accounting knowledge and progress your career
• Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and exposure to accounting systems
