About the Role
This position will be responsible for undertaking investigations, inspections, and approvals relative to state and Local Laws including, but not limited to public health, safety, environmental health, water usage, abandon vehicles, overgrowns, commercial permits, and animal management. This position will demonstrate objective decisions incorporating political prowess, legislative and community expectations.
About You
Our ideal applicant will have Knowledge and understanding of the Local Laws and other relevant legislation, regulations and governing law applicable to this position, including its application in an environment of community consultation and regulation. Investigation skills, including the ability to gather and present sustainable evidence for prosecution in court in relation to offences under legislation.
Be skilled in conflict and dispute resolution with the ability to identify sustainable outcome alternatives with demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, showing initiative and good judgement with identifiable outcomes and decision making.
