Locum Nurse

Job Title: Locum Vet NurseLocation: Inner Sydney, NSWAre you a Locum Vet Nurse looking for new opportunities on the Inner Sydney? GVC is providing recruitment support to an established veterinary practice based in Inner Sydney who is actively recruiting a Locum Vet Nurse to join their team and provide clinical support.The practice has all the standard equipment you would expect in a purpose-built surgery which has been updated as they continue to grow and expand their team and caseload.Details of the role:

• Inner Sydney, NSW
• ASAP - Ongoing (6 month contract ideally)
• 5 days a week
• No weekends
• No OOH
• Shifts: 7:30am - 3:30pm, 11am - 7pm (Nurses will never close, open by themselves)
• Undertaking nursing duties, including caring for hospitalised animals, surgical preparation and monitoring anaesthesia
• Performing consultations, providing animal care information on husbandry, nutrition, parasite control and behaviour to pet owners

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Similar Qualifications
• Experience in a busy clinic environment (preferred)
• Exceptional animal handling skills and knowledge of animal behaviour
• Passion for animal care and an advocate for stress-free nursing techniques
