About the Role
A permanent full-time role is currently available to join our team as Logistics Coordinator. This permanent full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and coordinating our warehouse logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Liaising with logistic partners to obtain freight quotes and delivery updates.
- Ensure accurate data entry in ERP system (Visual) warehouse management systems (CMS)
- Coordinate with freight forwarders to negotiate and secure the best rates for shipments.
- Monitor the performance of freight forwarders and ensure adherence to agreed service levels.
- Address any issues or concerns promptly to maintain smooth operations.
- Inward goods quality and quantity inspections
- Performing warehouse inventory controls upholding high-quality standards
- Warehouse Operations such as loading, unloading, receipting, picking, packaging, manifest creation, and goods dispatch.
- Plan, manage and evaluate all logistics operations with internal stakeholders such as suppliers, customers and freight forwarders.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role
- Forklift LF licence (Essential)
- High Reach Experience.
- Demonstrated experience of warehouse activity including the processes of product receipt, pick, pack and dispatch.
- Experience using barcode scanners and other technologies for tracking stock movements.
- Good knowledge of working online with freight portals.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills, in particular Excel.
