We’re looking for a Logistics Co-Ordinator who will report to Logistics Operations Manager based in Clayton, Victoria.
You will manage the logistics activities of Architectural business in Australia and NZ, ensuring that a flexible, cost-effective, and customer-oriented service is provided. You will also develop relationships with important personnel internally and manage main supplier relationships. You will look to develop improved workflows in the purchasing, distribution, finance, account, and customer service areas.
Responsibilities- Take a lead role in Managing the 3PL providers in NSW, WA, and Wellington
- Enforcement of important Indicators
- Monitor and improve compliance to PPG’s E,H&S Standards including the promotion, coaching and compliance with safe work instructions and best practice safe working environment
- Co-ordinate the distribution and logistics functions
- Inventory control of all 3 sites.
- Stock take management
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure PPG’s OTIF and DIFOT targets are met
- Investigation and resolution of Book-to-Book inventory variances (daily)
- Research and implement processes to reduce costs and improve efficiencies
- A degree or diploma in Logistics management or an equivalent qualification
- Sound knowledge of inventory principles
- Minimum of 5 years in the Logistics Industry experience in FMCG
- A working knowledge of warehouse management software packages, while experience with SAP packages will be an advantage, a sound knowledge of Microsoft software packages, particularly Excel & Outlook.
- Knowledge or experience in accounts will be a distinct advantage.
- The ability to organise and prioritise tasks is essential.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
