In support of this growth, Ventia are inviting expressions of interest for a Logistics Coordinatorto join their global and diverse organisation. 

About the Role

As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for overall supervision of the logistics department, leading a number of Storepersons. Your will manage stores purchasing including the requesting and receipting of purchase orders.  Liaising with Planners, Scopers, Project Managers & Supervisors to ensure the availability of required inventory for outage and operational works. Your other key responsibilities include: 

  • Facilitate regular stocktakes and auditing of counts of stock levels. 
  • Support the negotiation of fair pricing and terms with key inventory suppliers. 
  • Ensure all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner by Logistics team members. 
  • Maintain effective documentation & reporting.

About you 

To be successful in this role, you should hold the following skills & experience: 

  • Proven leadership and coordination experience within the logistics industry. 
  • Strong knowledge of stores and inventory management principles including the use of inventory management IT systems – SAP desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with experience in managing customer relations. 
  • Good literacy & numeracy skills.
  • Previous exposure Microsoft Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)
  • Current Full Drivers Licence – Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence Desirable
  • Current HRWL – Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) – Desirable
