The Opportunity
As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation of contracts for goods and services at HBF. Acting as a strategic partner to Contract Owners and Managers, you will ensure that HBF maximizes value from its suppliers while adhering to procurement policies and regulations. Your responsibilities will focus on procurement of suppliers, excluding medical service providers, and will contribute to our ongoing business transformation journey.
Position Accountabilities:
• Advise, Engage, Comply, and Improve: Provide guidance to Contract Owners and Managers on the procurement process, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Identification and Specification: Support in researching, identifying, specifying, and planning sourcing initiatives, including RFIs and RFPs.
• Evaluation and Selection: Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, manage the analysis of responses, and support vendor risk assessments.
• Contract Management: Provide support and guidance on procurement-related matters, manage the procurement workflow, maintain contract management systems, and support negotiations.

Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of working in procurement or administration teams.
• Communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
Desirable Skills:
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• Understanding of the not-for-profit sector and health insurance industry.
• Knowledge of ERP solutions and Procurement to Pay (P2P) business process.
• Knowledge of Contracts Management Systems (CMS) to administer contracts throughout the contracts life cycle
