About the Role
In this key role, you'll be the mastermind behind the scenes, ensuring our people have everything they need to get the job done. Your days will range from working with the sales and account management teams in coordinating transport and accommodation for our labour-hired staff to negotiating new contracts, managing vehicle leases and internal fleet management and maintenance schedules.
In addition to the above, your role will also include, but not be limited to:
- Manage relationships with key providers across vehicle leases, accommodation (internal & external) as well as other transport provides who assist in mobilising staff.
- Analise and optimise costs across transport and accommodation.
- Negotiate and review accommodation contracts and lease agreements.
- Oversee vehicle inspections (internal and external) and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
- Manage and maintain asset registers (vehicles, IT hardware) and optimise software where possible (currently using i-auditor) licenses.
- Coordinate transport and accommodation for new intakes efficiently.
- Collaborate with Finance for weekly reconciliation of deductions vs. vehicle usage.
- Collaborate with Sales, Account Management and PALM teams to establish new accommodation options.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be a detail orientated, analytical team player. It is also important that you can address the following -
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, transport, or asset/facilities management
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills – you'll be building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach
- A current full car driver's licence
