About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Logistics and Customer Service Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our logistics department at our North Sydney site, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining high standards of service. As warehousing and transportation are outsourced, you will also be responsible for managing and maintaining vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric mindset. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain relationships with transportation and warehousing vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Oversee the logistics operations, including inventory management, shipping, and distribution, to meet customer demand and optimise efficiency.
- Responsible for Customer Service operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics processes and streamline operations.
- Mentor and develop one direct report, fostering their growth and development within the organisation.
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- A hands-on management style with a collaborative approach to teamwork, capable of leading by example and driving results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Genuine passion for the industry and a drive to continuously improve logistics and Customer Service processes.
