Education/Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in logistics, with a track record of successful project implementations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
End-to-End Logistics Coordination:
• Optimise shipment processes from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Oversee freight bookings and explore innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of the logistics network.
Communication and Collaboration:
• Provide timely updates on schedules and campaign planners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adequate information distribution and accurate data dissemination.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate and analyse weekly reports, focusing on upcoming product volumes and shaping production planning strategies.
• Monitor and assess individual/team KPIs to optimise human resource utilisation.
Project Management:
• Conduct projects for innovative, digital-oriented inventory management procedures.
• Plan and execute projects for continuous improvement in Distribution Centre operations.
Procurement and Vendor Management:
• Manage the procurement of consumables, cultivating relationships with stakeholders and addressing organisational shortcomings with suppliers.
Team Support and Development:
• Directly assist team leaders, offering strategies to increase warehousing operations efficiency.
• Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction through effective logistics operations.
Problem Resolution:
• Address diverse business requests, ranging from quick queries to long-term projects.
• Deliver insights and propose new methods to enhance logistics processes.
