As we continue to grow, we are excited to offer a new position for a Procurement Specialist. This role will be pivotal in developing and implementing the materials management and purchasing functions across the Group. This will ensure the profitability and continuity of operational activities through strategic vendor relationships, supply chain processes, and structured procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage, improve, and implement procurement systems and processes to support the organization's operations on a daily basis.
- Enhance profitability by optimising operations and upgrading business processes and IT systems.
- Maintain active communication with all business and external stakeholders, as well as industry peers.
- Lead procurement efforts and materials management of stock both onsite and within warehouse.
- Manage internal assets to ensure best commercial outcomes.
- Continually refine the purchasing processes and internal controls for better efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Extensive experience in procurement management of plumbing, electrical or construction materials.
- Have experience in managing a team.
- Have ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple work fronts.
- Working knowledge of financial transactions and impacts as related to inventory.
