The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australia’s newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.  

The Property Manager Quality Assurance role reports directly to the Senior Manager Property Operations and takes the lead in managing all defect rectification and DLP maintenance activities at The Star Brisbane.  This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a on Property Operations. 
 
A few of your responsibilities  

• Manage the operational functions relative to this role, to achieve the department’s objectives in conjunction with division and company objectives 

• Manage all defects via Aconex Field and other operational applications 

• Review defect registers and Maximo registers for triaging 

• Closing and validating defects via Aconex applications 

• Coordinating defect resolution and arranging access internally and externally 

• Prioritising WH&S and legislative defect resolution 

What we will be looking for 

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or facilities management 

• Experience in facilities management in a large building complex 

• Working knowledge of hotel and building facilities 

• Knowledge of manpower/operating budgets 

• Ability to communicate and implement all statutory processes

About us  

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.    

When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.
