Sundale is seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to lead our small procurement team located in our Burnside office on a full-time permanent basis. This position will lead, drive and improve performance, accountability, capability and engagement outcomes from vendor selection and onboarding to payment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a professional compliant purchasing process which achieves value for money and high stakeholder satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with Sundale's goals and objectives.
- Overseeing the procurement process, from identifying sourcing needs to negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their products or services, and ensure value for money.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide effective procurement solutions.
- Leading the procurement team in executing day-to-day purchasing activities while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues to maintain high standards of delivery and quality.
- Managing supplier contracts, including negotiation, renewal, and termination processes as necessary.

Essential Requirements
- Police Check

Qualifications / Knowledge and experience
- A bachelor's degree in a related area such as business, economics, logistics, supply chain management or purchasing.
- Or 5+ years' experience at a senior procurement level
- Australian Supply Chain Institute certification desirable
- Experience in Aged Care sector desirable
- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Highly developed team leadership and interpersonal skills
