The Opportunity
We are seeking a brilliant and enthusiastic Logistics Manager with a focus on Customer Service to join our client's team. In this role, you will ensure a premium customer experience by efficiently managing order fulfilment, delivery, and installation processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the logistics of our client's warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient order processing and customer service.
- Managing a team, setting up processes, and optimising workflows.
- Leading a significant project to consolidate operations from five warehouses to two.
- Playing a key role in the implementation of SAP to support data cleaning efforts, in collaboration with our client's headquarters.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that the Order to Cash process exceeds customers’ expectations in terms of experience and cost efficiency.
- 3PL Management: Proactively manage third-party logistics partners to deliver superior delivery and installation experiences.
- Sales Targets: Collaborate with sales teams to achieve targets, minimise backlog slippage, and reduce revenue deviations.
- Logistic Costs and Stock Optimisation: Continuously improve logistic costs, optimise stock levels, and streamline the Order to Cash process.
- Invoicing Compliance: Ensure proper invoicing in compliance with local tax laws.
- Sales Forecasts: Support the development of accurate sales forecasts and reliable data management.
- Customer Claims: Manage customer claims effectively, providing proactive solutions to complaints.
- Governance and Compliance: Maintain proper governance and compliance of the Order to Cash process.
- Team Building: Develop a competent, customer-oriented, and engaged team.
You are a proactive, enthusiastic, and hands-on leader with a passion for customer service and logistics. You have a high degree of empathy and a strong ethical grounding. Your qualifications include:
- Relevant experience in Customer Service and Logistics.
- Experience in project management and implementing change.
- Expertise in warehouse and stock management.
- Experience on import processes and advanced use of SAP (SD module).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong financial skills and cost management abilities.
- Leadership qualities that inspire both coworkers and customers.
