Together we’re growing a business where everyone contributes and everyone matters.Since 2001, Northrop Grumman has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force’s 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing Northrop Grumman SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) team is comprised of approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training and Logistics Support to the fleet of two Boeing BBJ’s and three Dassault Falcon 7X’s Business Jets.Your Role:In this critical role, you will be tasked with meticulously planning and organising the SPA storage area for a smooth transition from old MSPA & Challenger stock to the new MSPA fleet. Your responsibilities will include the re-staging of SPA's receiving and storage space to facilitate the decommissioning of the old MSPA fleet, and managing the installation and commissioning of specialized racking/storage facilities. A key aspect of your role will be the designing and implementing of location naming conventions for new MSPA storage areas, demonstrating your strong computer skills through the integration of these into the iFlight system. You'll be handling the disposal of obsolete parts and equipment, preparing existing storage for new parts, conducting internal warehouse transfers, and overseeing the initial receipt and storing new inventory, all while adhering to Aeronautical Product Receipt inspection procedures. Your role will also involve assisting in two-person lifts and other collaborative warehouse tasks. Training in iFlight, Aeronautical Product Receipt Inspector compliance, and MILIS will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped for the role.Please note, this is a fixed-term contract arrangement through to 30 June 2024.About You:You are a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in logistics documentation and maintenance record management, underpinned by strong numeracy and literacy skills. Your ability to determine the necessary spares, tools, test equipment, and related manuals for efficient deployment is complemented by your proficiency in modifying repair standards for complex equipment. Your expertise in inventory management is characterised by meticulous record-keeping of equipment, components, and parts, showcasing your exceptional attention to detail. You possess analytical skills necessary to evaluate the impact of configuration changes on logistics deployment, and your ability to document equipment conditions and identify logistic support documentation demonstrates your strong computer skills.
