PRIMARY PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this role is to perform procurement activities supporting the Procurement Manager in facilitating the purchasing requirements for the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Follow the documented Procurement related procedures and process.
▪ Develop and maintain project procurement plans (in collaboration with the PM).
▪ Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation.
▪ Collate quotations.
▪ Assist in quotation evaluation.
▪ Collate and issue finalised Contract documentation.
▪ Create and process SAP based Purchase Requisitions and resulting Purchase
Orders.
▪ Place orders and receive acknowledgements.
▪ Provide the sub-contractor communication interface to the rest of the project team for
procured items.
▪ Issue contract variation orders.
▪ Expedite Suppliers (incl. arranging for inspections, monitoring documentation supply,
delivery to site).
▪ Manage Logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment
(as required).
▪ Assist with invoice validation.
▪ Participate in project meetings.
▪ Assist with the ordering, expediting and delivery of Site requested items.
▪ Assisting Project Procurement Manager with preparation of purchasing standards,
documentation and procedures.
▪ To perform routine administrative functions on a day-to-day basis.
KEY POSITION CAPABILITIES
