ABOUT THE JOB:
Our client is seeking a motivated Logistics Support Officer to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth logistical operations across national and international locations, supporting large groups with accommodation, transportation, and related logistical needs.KEY DUTIES:
- Coordinate Logistics: Manage accommodation, airfares, catering, and transport (bus, hire cars) for large groups across various locations.
- Compliance and Planning: Ensure all logistics planning and processes adhere to legislation, policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Identify issues impacting business objectives and recommend effective solutions.
- Documentation Management: Assist in preparing submissions such as Overseas Visit Authorities (OVAs), Foreign Visit Requests (FVRs), and security requirements.
- Formal Correspondence: Draft and review formal correspondence using appropriate styles and formats, meeting specified timelines.
THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE:
- Essential Requirements: Hold a current C Class driver’s licence and an AGSVA NV1 Clearance
- Organisational Skills: Strong ability to organise tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure operational efficiency.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Capability to address and resolve logistical challenges promptly and efficiently.
- Team Player: Proven ability to collaborate within teams, especially in high-pressure environments.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in managing logistics details, ensuring accuracy in documentation and processes.
