Logistics Travel Coordinator

What is your new role about?
To develop the function and coordinate the logistics activities and site access across all Remote Communities workstreams and functions to all Regions and Communities whilst ensuring compliance with safety and appropriate cultural and heritage guidelines and standards.
Your new role will include:
• Establish the logistical travel and site access process and pre-travel requirements, to be applied to all HP stakeholders when accessing communities located in isolated, regional WA.
• Provide advice and coordination to Remote Communities team for upcoming events, engagements and travel, ensuring cultural sensitivities are applied and adhered to.
• Identifying the appropriate method of travel based on regional location, safety/lone work/fatigue/lack of accommodation/ safe places for rest stops/fuel stops.
• Develop travel safety plan for each identified travel activity, and monitor the adherence to plan including requiring constant communications via. Sat phones etc.
• First point of contact for travel plan check ins to ensure person has arrived safely. Monitor plan Safety ownership.
Our new Logistical Travel Coordinator will have:
• Excellent problem-solving skills - Makes sense of complex and high quantity information to effectively solve problems.
• Acts independently to apply comprehensive understanding of the business environment and objectives developing solutions while providing guidance and training to others.
• Previous exposure to planning and projects to co-ordinate activities.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
• Previously worked in planning role.
